Showt is a wonderful tool for activists to rally their supporters to let the world know of their cause. There are many ways for activists to use Showt:
Bloggers can quote ShowtCounts in their blogs. Soon Showt will offer a special widget for bloggers to insert into their website that will highlight Showtees (people, places, products, movies, TV shows, issues).
Educators can incorporate Showts and Showting in their curriculum in a variety of courses: political science, history, current affairs, economics, journalism, science. Students can be encouraged to debate the merits of a myriad of Showtees in these courses, and have their voice be heard through the Showt platform.
Journalists can set up their own ShowtBack account, so readers and viewers can Showt about them, and get a ShowtBack.
Journalists can also quote ShowtCounts and ShowtBacks in their writing and reports.
They can encourage their web publishers to insert the Showt Widget onto their sites, to allow the readers to Showt on every Showtee listed on their site.
Showting is for everyone. Anyone 13 or older can register on Showt. Showting is a wonderful way to make yourself be heard around the world -- and get a reply from Showtees. Power to the kids!
